The island of Krk, called Gold Island, is set in the Golf of Kvarner Bay, is the biggest island of Adria. The surface of the island occupies approx 409 sq km, ca. 38 km lengths and until 20 km large. Baska population amounts to approx. 16402 inhabitants. Southwards the end of the island is located Baska, already known since 1904 as Bath point.
